Charge to activate the battery until the battery level LEDs are on. The four LEDs stay on when the battery is fully charged.
STEP 4
Unfold the front and rear arms in sequence.
Automatic Power On: Unfold either one of the rear arms.
Manual Power On/Off: Press and then press and hold the power button.
Press, then press and hold to power on/off.
STEP 5
Mount the control sticks, pull out the holder, and then take out the left connector which has no mark and connect it to your smartphone. Then mount the smartphone on the holder.

Make sure the aircraft and the remote controller are powered on. Run DJI Fly on your smartphone, tap Connection Guide on the bottom right corner of the home page and follow the on-screen instructions to activate the aircraft.
STEP 8
Select an open outdoor area with good lighting, and then try the following three control methods in sequence.
Power off the remote controller and remove the smartphone from the remote controller. Tap Connection Guide on the bottom right corner of the DJI Fly app on your smartphone, select the aircraft model, select Connect via Mobile Device and then follow the on-screen instructions to connect and control the aircraft.

Make sure the remote controller is powered off.

Hold the sides of the aircraft from below, with the camera facing you. DO NOT extend your fingers into the rotation range of the propellers!

Palm Landing: Place your palm underneath the aircraft and keep still, wait for the aircraft to land automatically.
Make sure to fully extend your fingers to avoid touching the propellers. DO NOT grab the sides of the aircraft body during landing in the same manner as during takeoff!
