Removing the PowerEdge 1550 Top Cover from the Rack
Follow this procedure to remove the PowerEdge 1550 Top Cover from the
rack.

9. Before removing the PowerEdge 1550 Top Cover from the rack you must:
Remove the PowerEdge 1550 Front Bezel.
Remove the PowerEdge 1550 from the rack.
10. To remove the PowerEdge 1550 Top Cover from the rack, perform the following steps:
Remove the screws in the front securing the PowerEdge 1550 Top cover in the rack.
11. Pull the PowerEdge 1550 Top cover forward out of the rack.
NOTE: The rear of the PowerEdge 1550 Top Cover has slots that fit over pegs on the mounting
hardware that secures the rear of the PowerEdge 1550 Top cover in the rack.
