The power supply/light source provides the light, air, and video pass through for the system. The light is provided by two patented Welch Allyn arc lamps. Rated at 21 watts, these generate the same output as a high wattage Xenon arc lamp while only producing a fraction of the heat.
Section 1 General Information Major Component Description: Light Box The VideoPath VLX-10/20 Light Source is driven by a universal switching power supply, which accepts 100-240 VAC, 50-60 Hz without having to be adjusted. This power supply automatically senses line voltage and makes the correct adjustments for any line input. The power supply is medical grade and is approved for medical standards by UL, CSA, and TUV.

Preventative Maintenance The purpose of preventative maintenance is to pro-actively reduce or eliminate future problems. Keeping the VideoPath VLX-10/20 Light Source in good operating condition ensures that it will perform reliably and safely.
