    Type 8762 Safety Safety Intended use The device EPC is designed to measure and regulate the pressure. The permitted media are listed in Technical data [} 15]. Prerequisites for safe and trouble-free operation are proper transport, storage, installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance.

Components that come into contact with electrostatically charged persons or objects are at risk. In the worst case scenario, these components will be destroyed immediately or fail after start-up.

    Type 8762 Product description 3.3.2 NAMUR mode The status indicator shows the status of the device and its peripherals, based on NAMUR recommendation 107 (NR 107). If various alerts are present, the status indicator always shines in the colour of the highest prioritised alert (red = outage = highest priority).

    On a büS/CANopen variant it is possible to alternatively change the related object. Refer to the related procedure in the device-specific help in the documentation of the initiation files.
