Cleaning the dust
canister filter

Operate the filter cleaning
clicker lever fi several times
and empty the canister over a
bin and then close the canister.

To access the filter assembly,
rotate the dust canister lid Ù
anti-clockwise and remove from
the dust canister J.

Turn the central mesh filter Ú
clockwise to remove, and clean
as required K.

Detach the pleated circular filter
Ò from the canister lid Ù by a
firm pull action L.

Both the mesh and pleated
filters may be washed (in warm
water only) but must be
thoroughly air-dried before re-
fitting.

Re-locate the pleated filter back
into position on the canister lid
by aligning the tabs on the dust
canister lid Ù (marked by
arrows) L with cut away
sections on the top of the
pleated filter before pushing into
place.
Refit the mesh filter and turn
anti-clockwise to lock into
position on the dust canister lid.
Re-attach the canister lid on to
the canister by aligning the
arrows on the canister lid and
the canister J. Then rotate the
canister lid clockwise.
