    Electronic level sensor LK81xx 10.2 Parameter setting in general CAUTION The housing can heat up considerably. w Risk of burns. u Do not touch the device with your hands. u If necessary, use a blunt object to make settings on the device. 3 steps must be taken for each parameter setting: 1: Select Parameter u Press [Mode/Enter] until the requested parameter is displayed.

Finishing the parameter setting: u Press [Mode/Enter] several times until the current measured value is displayed or wait for 30 s. w The sensor returns to the process value display. If [C.Loc] is displayed when an attempt is made to modify a parameter value, a parameter setting process is active via the IO-Link communication (temporary locking).

The settings [CLW.1] and [CLW.2] suppress deposits (e.g. metal swarf). The settings [OIL.1] and [OIL.2] suppress a bottom layer of higher dielectric water or swarf which is a few cm high.
