EXHAUST REQUIREMENTS FOR CANADA Exhausting refers to removal of moist air from the drying compartment to the environment through an opening in the appliance housing. The appliance shall not be exhausted into a chimney, wall, ceiling, space, or concealed space of a building. Only rigid or flexible metal duct shall be used for exhausting.
