OPERATING YOUR FOOD DEHYDRATOR
Your food dehydrator is simple to use and is designed to make the dehydration process
simple and accurate if the instructions are followed. Be sure that you have read the
safety tips at the beginning of this manual before proceeding.
Before preparing your foods, wash and dry the trays, lid and tray liners (if using). Place
the dehydration base where you intend to use it, ensuring the electrical cord can safely
reach the outlet. As you prepare the food, place it directly on the trays. Once a tray is
filled, place it on the dehydrator.
To operate the model:
1. Setup:
- Place the appliance on a flat and level surface. Stack the trays on top of each other,
then insert the plug into an electrical outlet.
2. Start the cycle:
- Press the 'ON/OFF' button to begin the programmed cycle.
3. Adjust the temperature:
- Press the 'TEMP' button to set the desired temperature (40-70°C).
- Single presses increase the temperature by one degree.
- Hold the button down to increase the temperature more quickly.
4. Set the timer:
- Press the 'TIMER' button to set the desired time (1-48 hours).
- Press and hold the button to set the hours, releasing when the desired time is
reached.
5. Automatic and manual stop:
- The dehydrator will stop automatically when the time expires.
- To stop at any time, press the 'ON/OFF' button.
- Remove the plug from the outlet once it has stopped.
6. Adjusting during the cycle:
- To add more time or change the temperature, press the 'ON/OFF' button to stop the
machine, adjust the settings as needed and press the 'ON/OFF' button again to
restart.
