Locking and Unlocking the Device

To lock your device:
With a device password set, on the Home screen, click Lock.
To unlock your device:
On the Lock screen, roll the trackwheel. Click Unlock. Type your password.
Press the Enter key (
Note:
When the device is locked, you should be able to make an emergency call
without dialing the emergency access number. Click Emergency Call . Click Yes .

Enabling Profiles

Click Profiles to display the profiles page, click a notification profile, and
then click Enable.
Note:
To change the current notification profile quickly, select a profile and then
press the Space key.

Location Settings

Your device is equipped with a Location feature for use in connection with
location-based services that may be available in the future.
The Location feature allows the network to detect your position. Turning Location
off will hide your location from everyone except 911.
Note:
Turning Location on will allow the network to detect your position using GPS
technology, making some Sprint PCS applications and services easier to use.
Turning Location off will disable the GPS location function for all purposes
except 911, but will not hide your general location based on the cell site
serving your call. No application or service may use your location without
your request or permission. GPS-enhanced 911 is not available in all areas.
To enable your phone's Location feature:
1.
Click Options, and then click Location Based Services. (The Location disclaimer
will be displayed.)
2.
Read the disclaimer and click OK.
3.
Click the trackwheel and click Change Option.
4.
Click Location ON, click the trackwheel, and then click Save.
When the Location feature is on, your device's Home screen will display the
