Tap Start, Settings, then select Control Panel.

dialog box shown in the following figure.
Be sure to select the "LCD Suspend/Resume" tab.

Select either "Enable suspend while on battery power"

or "Enable suspend while on external power," or both,
to enable the display linkage switch.
Note:
Your NEC MobilePro will not automati-
cally suspend while on battery power during syn-
chronization, unless the battery charge is at a very
low status. You may want to connect your MobilePro
to an AC power source before synchronizing with
your host PC.
