  6. Push back the lock button to engage the vac tubes. (Figure 6-7)
    information TIP
You can do the steps above in the opposite sequence to remove the vac tubes.
  7. Put the bag adaptor into the blower outlet. Lock the bag securely on the locking area. (Figure 8)

warning NOTE
It can be necessary to remove the blower tube or vac tubes to clean a blocked tube or impeller.

Figure 9.

  1. Insert the nozzle into the blower tube from the top and let it slide down to the bottom.
  2. Pull the nozzle to lock in its final position.
  3. Push the blow tube on the notched area of the main unit until the slot of the tube is locked on the notched area.

warning NOTE
You can use the nozzle to increase airflow in tight areas: flower beds, under decks, etc.

INSTALL THE BATTERY PACKS

Figure 10.

  • If the battery pack or charger is damaged, replace the battery pack or the charger.
  • Stop the machine and wait until the engine stops before you install or remove the battery packs.
  • Use only 24V battery packs. Do not use dual-voltage 24/48V battery packs.
  • Both battery packs should be installed in the compartments in order to start the machine.
  1. Align the lift ribs on the battery pack with the grooves in the battery compartment.
  2. Push the battery pack into the battery compartment until the battery pack locks into place.
  3. When you hear a click, the battery pack is installed.
  4. Do the same operation with the other battery pack.

warning NOTE
Optimize the power and performance of your new 2x24V machine by running with both battery packs charged to 100%. If each battery has a different charge state, the run-time of the machine is subject to the lowest powered battery (For example: one battery is charged 100%, and the other is charged 50%, the unit will only run until the 50% battery is depleted).

REMOVE THE BATTERY PACK

Figure 10.

  1. Push and hold the battery release button.
  2. Remove the battery pack from the machine.
