Procure a current clamp with a reading capability of at least 100 A (Amperes). Remove the valance, locate the Red wire of the brush motor and attach the clamp meter to it.

    PLDC04702 REVISION 01 February 22, 2024 TECHNICAL OFFICE Stavale A1.5 Replacing the solenoid valve Disassembly Remove the valance covering the motor/s, loosening the four (4) lateral screws and removing the front screw. Disconnect the solenoid from the power source by detaching the two Faston clips. Unscrew the wing nut to separate the solenoid valve from the brush head.

Disconnect the actuator cable from the power and services circuit board, and pull the cable free. Remove the R-clip from the top pivot of the actuator and remove the pin from the actuator bracket lever. Replace the actuator with an identical new part.
  • Page 14 PLDC04702 REVISION 01 February 22, 2024 TECHNICAL OFFICE Stavale Assembly Connect the actuator to the lever of the actuator bracket by means of the top pivot and secure with the R-clip. Using a screwdriver, ease the inner coil spring of the rod upwards and insert the pivot. Slide the pivot through completely, making certain it is located correctly below the inner spring.
