SETTING UP THE
1. Set the 4017C Basin on your prepared site. Place
the pump in the middle of the basin and run its power cord down through the large floor hole and out
the back of the fountain from underneath, aligning through the notch in the underside of the basin.
Connect one of the long light power cables to the 3-Way Cable Adapter. Place the adapter in the basin
and run its power cable out through the same hole.
2. Open the slit in the 2-Hole Stopper and place the pump cord and light cable in the molded holes.
The pump cord should fit into the larger hole. Then close the stopper and push it into the large hole in
the floor of the basin. Mush the stopper down with your thumbs until only about
1/8" remains above the basin floor.
3. Place protective burlap or towels on the
upper edges of the 4017C Basin. Set the
4017B 2-Bowl Section across
the basin, giving yourself some
room underneath to make
connections. Place one light in
each of the two bowls as shown.
Drop their power cords down
through the hole in the
floor of each bowl and
connect them to the
3-Way Cable Adapter
in the basin. Henri's
lights have a two-part
power cord, first
running about 18"
from the light, then
threading
together
with a
16' long
cable. Make
sure these pieces
are firmly connected
to be watertight. In addition,
make each bowl watertight by
installing a smaller rubber stopper around each light cord and pressing the stopper into the floor hole.
4. Center the pump and thread the ½" nipple (cut-out notch on top) into the pump. Extra hands
continue to be needed for this next section. Set the top bowl on the middle of the 2-bowl section. Push
the barbed adapter into the bottom of the long copper pipe. Roll the O-ring onto the top end of the pipe.
Place the third light into the top bowl and run its power cord into the side of the copper tee and then
down the middle of the tee into the copper pipe. (Place tee on pipe now.) Continue to feed the cord
down through the pipe and out the bottom of its adapter underneath. Pull all the extra power cord
through into the basin and connect securely to the 3-Way Cable Adapter.

Make sure to place your fountain on a firm and level
surface which will not settle. Note: Always follow
local electrical codes and use a 110V GFCI protected
outlet. Do not let children climb on fountain.
