SETTING UP THE 4948F1
1) Prepare a suitable location for your new fountain.
2) Set the pump and the light inside the
fountain basin. Push their power
cords down through the largest hole in
the fountain floor – then tip the
fountain just enough to grasp the
power cords underneath and pull them
toward your power supply. Leave
enough slack in the cords that allows
you to make adjustments inside the
fountain.
3) The rubber stopper provided has a slit
and two preformed holes. Open the
slit and install the stopper around the
pump cord (in the larger hole) and the
light cord, near the floor of the
fountain basin. Close the slit and
press firmly into the large hole in the
basin floor as shown.
4) Thread the small adapter into the top
of the pump. Thread the larger
adapter into the hole under the
fountain spout, as shown
5) Place the R1 Flow Restrictor on the middle of the tube and tighten it just enough so it holds in
place. Then push each end of the tube over barbs of the two adapters.
6) Fill the basin with water. Read your pump and light instructions. Connect the light power cord
to its provided transformer. Plug the transformer and pump into your power source to start the
fountain.
.
Make sure to place your fountain on a firm
area which will not settle. Note: Always
follow local electrical codes and use a
110V GFCI protected outlet.
