Each product with a different hardware setup to accomo- date special needs and requests. The terms WALL, WALL units and WALL family all refer to a common denomination for all 11 products.

  • Page 8 English 4.3 The screw connector The screw connector allows for connecting external power, inputs and outputs by cable to the WALL unit. 10-28 VDC 4.4 Power The unit can be powered either by 10-28V or 2 x AAA batteries. 4.5 Inputs IN1 and IN2 In the screw connector there are two wired inputs, IN1 (pin 6) and IN2 (pin 5).
  • Page 9 English 4.6 Outputs OUT1 and OUT2 The outputs are galvanically separated from the wired inputs and each other and works according to below. 4.6.1 ROOM and ROOM+PEAR The relay outputs act according to the settings in the builtin action- plan or by a superior system (by radio).   • Page 11 English 4.9 Ports 1 and 2 The tele jack connector provides two ports when a stereo tele plug is used or one port if a mono teleplug is used . The ports are of type Normally Open. Both ports have a common ground and must be connected to poten- tial free contacts (see below).
  • Page 12 English 4.10 Mounting frames There are 3 different mounting frames to fix the unit on the installation. The IP44 mounting frame enables IP44 class protection for an IP44 ready unit, see “3 Product variant denominations”. 4.10.1 1 mm mounting frame The 1 mm mounting frame is included in units by default and is used when mounting WALL in an electric coupling box.
  • Page 13 English 4.10.2 13 mm mounting frame (accessory) The standard 13 mm mounting frame fits all units and is used when the device is mounted on the wall surface. 4.10.3 Mounting frame IP44 (accessory) The IP44 mounting frame is designed to provide IP44 class protection to IP44 ready product variants, see “3 Product variant denomina- tions”.
  • Page 14 English It is important to secure that the surface of the wall where the mounting frame is placed is flat and smooth so the mounting frame closes tightly to the wall. The three mounting frames contain a plastic flange (marked with a red circle in the picture above) and is designed to fit on a new WALL PCB.
  • Page 15 English To determine if the WALL PCB is new or old, take a look at the picture below. New PCBs have a hole where the red rectangle is, while old PCBs do not. The mounting frame can be fitted on an old PCB, but then the plastic flange must be cut off.

    English 5 Manual configuration (not valid for ROOM and ROOM+PEAR) Any unit can be manually configured regarding adding transmitters and how the two relay outputs should act when the added transmitter is activated. The procedure is in short: • Determine what position to activate •...

Die neuen Montagerahmen haben einen Kunststoffflansch, im Bild gekennzeichnet mit einem roten Kreis. Der Flansch ist so konzipiert, dass er in den Ausschnitt der neuen WALL Leiterplatte passt.
