Specifications and optional equipment for Fendt machines and the range of vehicles made by Fendt are subject to ongoing changes. Fendt therefore explicitly reserves the right to make changes or modifications to this guide at any time. The information factors in the state of knowledge at the date of creation.
This manual should be kept inside the tractor and available for reference as required. For service and maintenance information separate publications are available but may not necessarily be found inside the tractor. Please contact a FENDT dealer for more information.
0 - Rescue Sheet High-voltage High-voltage Fuse box, Low-voltage High-voltage components & isolation deactivation high- battery battery voltage lines voltage system The high-voltage components on the E107 Vario (standard tractor) and E107 V Vario (narrow- gauge tractor) are in the same installation positions.
1 - Identification / Recognition There are many instantly recognisable and visible features that identify an electric tractor. The most obvious features are the lack of an exhaust stack on either side of the tractor and obvious orange wires by the charging socket on the left side of the tractor. Around the tractor and on the High voltage battery there are warning labels affixed.
1 - Identification / Recognition Charge Socket Connects the charge cable to the electric Onboard Charger tractor. Manages the charging of the electric tractor from an external power supply. DC-DC Converter Changes DCV from HV to LV. HV Battery Provides and stores high- voltage energy.
2 - Stabilisation and Lifting Access the Vehicle 1. Opening the door from the outside Press lock in then pull on door handle to open cab door. 2. Opening the door from the inside Press button then push on door to open cab door. NOTE: Door mechanism is the same on both sides of the tractor.

2 - Stabilisation and Lifting Stabilisation 1. Locate and apply the parking brake. 2. If the key is in the ignition with the machine ON, press the start/stop button on the steering column. Wait until the indicator goes out. Remove the ignition key. If the key is in the ignition with the machine OFF, remove the key.

2 - Stabilisation and Lifting Lifting WARNING: Under no circumstances should the EV tractor be raised using different points as these have not been designed to absorb the potential loads. If inflatable airbags are used to raise the vehicle, care must be taken to avoid exerting crush loads on the machine, as this could cause HV cable or battery damage, or short circuit.
3 - Disable Direct Hazards / Safety Regulations 12V Auxiliary Battery disconnect HV Battery manual service disconnect Open the door of the tractor and reach inside WARNING: to switch off the tractor with the start/stop Appropriate HV PPE must be worn switch.

3 - Disable Direct Hazards / Safety Regulations Deactivate the HV System Deactivation of the HV system from the tractor cabin. 1. Gain access to cab. 2. Remove the cover of the fuse box on the right side of the tractor cab. 3.
4 - Stored Energy / Liquids / Gases / Solids For HV Components and Cables refer to page 7. WARNING: Always assume that parts are energized. Always wear the appropriate PPE. Contact with HV current can cause serious injury or death. All HV components are marked with warning labels, except for HV cables.
5 - In the Event of a Fire Li-ion battery cells are difficult to extinguish as they create oxygen when burning and are therefore self-sustaining. A fire in an EV should be approached and extinguished using standard emergency services operating practices. It is most efficient to lower their temperature below the critical point by the application of significant quantities of cold water.
6 - In Case of Submersion Provided that there is no visible damage to the HV systems or the battery assembly on the electric tractor, standard recovery practice should be followed. The points to be aware of are: Visually check the vehicle for signs of damage that could have interfered with any of the HV systems, notably the HV cabling and battery assembly.
7 - Towing / Storage IMPORTANT: Towing is only possible once the transmission has been put into the towing position mechanically. If this is not the case, then towing will cause the transmission to be damaged. NOTE: Keep speed and distance to an absolute minimum Use a tow bar to connect the towing vehicle to the electric tractor.
8 - Additional Information HV System description The HV battery powers the HV system with 700 V DC electricity. Positive and negative HV cables are routed from the battery down the centre and to the left of the tractor. They are mounted as high as possible, to provide protection.
9 - Explanation of Picrograms Used Caution: Pay attention to the message that follows Risk of fire Risk of damage to human health Risk of death Risk of explosions Corrosion: Materials causing skin corrosion/burns or eye damage on contact, or that are corrosive to metals. High Voltage Use water to extinguish the fire Use IR camera for thermal imaging...
