MP3/WMA playback

You can play MP3 and WMA files with the multimedia system. The files can be stored on
DVD+R/RW, DVD-R/RW, CD-ROM, CD-R, CD-RW or SD card.
CD-RW discs should be formatted with the "Full" option so that they can be read.
MP3 files with a maximum bit rate of 320 kbps and a sampling frequency of 48 kHz can be
played.
MP3 files must have the extension ".mp3", while WMA files must have the extension
".wma" in order to be read by the multimedia system.
The following information and functions appear in the MP3/WMA menu:

the disc or SD card
9. . . . . . . . . . Display of the next folder on the disc or SD card
10. . . . . . . . . Fast rewind
11. . . . . . . . . Fast forward
12. . . . . . . . . Stop playback
13. . . . . . . . . Switch on REPEAT and select mode
14. . . . . . . . . Activate/deactivate random play
15. . . . . . . . . Display of the number pad for entering the track number directly
16. . . . . . . . . Display of the medium (DVD, CD, SD), the current track number (file) and the total
number of tracks (files) on the current disc or SD card
17. . . . . . . . . Display of the elapsed playing time for the current track
18. . . . . . . . . Display of the selected sound style, the current loudness setting and the selected
rear zone operating mode
19. . . . . . . . . Display of the current volume setting
20. . . . . . . . . Display of the ID3 tag with MP3 playback
Playing MP3/WMA files
When an MP3/WMA disc or SD card is inserted, all files and folders are played sequentially.
Each file is assigned a file number (track number).
Selecting a track
Touch the desired track in the track list (3), or
touch the keyboard symbol (15) and select a track using the number pad.
