Mitel 6920 Instructions

Place a Call on Mitel 6920
You can use the phone handset or the speaker-
phone to place a call
Handset
To place a call, pick up the handset and
dial the appropriate General RV extension or
outside phone number
To dial an outside phone number,
you must dial 8 rst
To end the call, simply hang up the handset
Speakerphone
To place a call using speakerphone, press the
Speaker/Headset key and dial the appropriate
General RV extension or outside phone number
A red light will turn on next to the Speaker/Headset key
You can switch to handset mode by picking up the
phone handset while the call is in progress.
To switch back to speakerphone, simple press
the Speaker/Headset key rst then hang up the
handset to resume back on speakerphone
To end the call, pick up and hang up the handset
or press the End Call soft key that shows on the
phone display

Answer a Call
Answer a phone call using the phone handset or
on speakerphone
To silence the ringer during an incoming call, press the
Silence soft key that shows on the phone display. The
ringer will turn o for that call
Handset
Pick up the handset to answer the incoming call
and hang up once the call is complete
Speakerphone
Press the Speaker/Headset key to answer the
incoming call
To end the call, pick up and hang up the handset
or press the End Call soft key that shows on the
phone display
You can switch to handset mode by picking up the
phone handset while the call is in progress.
To switch back to speakerphone, simple press
the Speaker/Headset key and hang up the
handset to resume back on speakerphone
Adjusting Call/Ringer Volume
Press the Volume controls key to lower or raise:
To hear the other person louder or softer
while on an active call
To adjust the volume of the ringer during an
incoming call
