Troubleshooting

The unit will not power on

  • Check the connections.
  • If using batteries, connect a cable to the L/MONO output jack.
  • If the indicator blinks and it will not start, update the firmware.

There is no sound or output is very quiet

  • Check the connections.
  • Adjust the looper and rhythm levels.
  • Adjust the output volume.

Sounds from the output jacks are strange

  • Check the ROUTING setting.

There is a lot of noise

  • Confirm that nothing is wrong with the instrument cable.
  • Use a genuine AC adapter (ZOOM AD-16).

Batteries lose their charge quickly

  • Set the type of battery being used correctly. Due to their characteristics, using nickel metal hydride batteries (especially high-capacity ones) or lithium batteries should enable longer use than alkaline batteries when power consumption is high.
  • Set the display backlight to "NORMAL".
