Included in delivery
Check that the device packaging has not been tampered with and make sure that all contents are present. Before use, ensure that there is no visible damage to the device or accessories and that all packaging material has been removed. If you have any doubts, do not use the device and contact your retailer or the specified Customer Services address.

Intended use
With this callus remover you can remove unwanted hard or rough skin and calluses simply, quickly and effectively.
A coarse and fine callus attachment as well a stainless steel rasp are included in delivery.
Use these attachments to treat the affected areas with optimum results.
The device is only intended for the purpose described in these instructions for use. The manufacturer is not liable for damage resulting from improper or careless use.

Initial use
- Remove the packaging.
- Check the device, mains plug and cable for damage.
- Connect the device to the mains. When doing so, the device must be switched off.
- Ensure that the cable does not pose a trip hazard.
- Charge the device for approximately 3 hours before the first use. When the charger indicator lamp flashes green, the battery is charging. The device is fully charged when the lamp shows solid green. You can then use the device either on battery power or with the mains cable.
- If the charger indicator lamp flashes red when running on battery power, it means that the battery is empty. Charge the device by connecting it to the mains adapter.
- One charge is sufficient for approx. 60 minutes of cordless operation. After that you can continue to use the device via mains operation.

- For hygiene reasons, you should not share the attachments with anyone else.
- When switched on, the device should not come into contact with other areas of skin (e.g. eyelashes, head hair, etc.), or with clothes or cords, to avoid injury as well as blockages or damage to the device.
- Do not use the device on irritated skin, varicose veins, rashes, spots, (hairy) birthmarks or wounds without consulting a doctor beforehand. The same applies to patients with weakened immune systems, diabetes, haemophilia and immune insufficiency.
Note
- The callus remover can be used on dry or wet skin. Removal of calluses is more effective on dry skin.
- When used on dry skin, the skin must be completely dry and free from grease.
- Do not use any cream before removing calluses.
- Do not remove too much of a callus as it may otherwise grow back again more strongly.
Use
- Make sure that the abrasive roller is correctly inserted into the device.
- To switch on the device, move the On/Off switch to the desired speed setting.
- The LED light ensures optimal lighting conditions so that you can see and remove calluses better.
- You can use the callus rasp at the end of the handle to pre-treat heavily callused areas of skin on your feet.
- You can now remove severe calluses using the coarse abrasive roller.
- If you wish to remove slightly callused areas or smooth your skin, use the fine callus attachment.
- Do not use the device for longer than 3–4 seconds on one area of the skin.
- Do not use the callus remover on irritated, sore or broken skin.
- Move the device slowly and evenly over the callus. Make sure you hold the device vertically at a 90° angle to the callus. To achieve optimum results, it may help to move the device over the callus in different directions.
Changing the roller
Proceed as follows to change the roller:
- Hold the callus remover in your hand as shown.
- With your other hand, push the roller to the left and pull it up and off.

Changing the manual rasp
Proceed as follows to change the rasp at the end of the handle:
- Hold the callus remover in your hand as shown.
- Pull the protective cap off the device.
- Now pull the rasp forwards off the device.
Cleaning and maintenance

- Unplug the device each time before cleaning.
- Clean the device using only the methods specified. Under no circumstances may liquid enter the device or the accessory.
- Clean the callus attachment with the cleaning brush. We recommend that you moisten this beforehand with alcohol to guarantee a hygienic clean.
- Make sure that the relevant callus attachment is completely dry before you put it back on the device.
- Do not use the device again until it is completely dry.
- Do not clean the device in the dishwasher.
- Do not use any abrasive cleaning products or hard brushes.
Clean the unplugged device once it has cooled down using a soft, slightly damp cloth and a mild cleaning agent. Then wipe dry with a soft, lint-free cloth.

- Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children unless supervised.
- If the mains connection cable of this device is damaged, it must be disposed of. If it cannot be removed, the device must be disposed of.
- Under no circumstances should you open or repair the device yourself, as faultless functionality can no longer be guaranteed thereafter. Failure to adhere to this instruction will void the warranty.

- Keep packaging material away from children! Choking hazard.
- Children must be supervised at all times whilst using the device.

During use, a considerable amount of heat may be generated on the skin.
- Check results regularly during treatment. This is particularly advisable in the case of diabetics, as they are less sensitive to pain and are liable to become injured more easily. Always use with extreme care. If in doubt, ask your doctor.
- Any improper use can be dangerous.
- In case of prolonged intensive use (e.g. milling of dead skin from your feet) the device might get very hot. In order to prevent skin burns in these situations, there should be longer breaks between each application. For your own safety, constantly monitor heat build up in the device. This particularly applies to people who are insensitive to heat.
- The device is only for private use and is not intended for medical or commercial purposes.
- For reasons of hygiene, the device should only be used on one person.
- Before making a claim, please check the batteries first and replace them if necessary.
- On no account try to repair the instrument yourself!
- Use the instrument only with the accessories provided.
- Do not use on small animals/animals.
- Keep the instrument away from sources of heat.
- Do not use the device for periods longer than 15 minutes without a pause. After this time, wait an interval of at least 15 minutes to prevent the motor from overheating.
- Hands must always be dry when using the device.
- Please ensure that no hair can get caught in the rotating attachments when using the device. Use a hair tie for your safety.
- Before use, ensure that the device and accessories show no visible damage. If you have any doubts, do not use the device and contact your retailer or the specified Customer Services address.
- Do not pull, twist or bend the mains cable.
- Ensure that the mains cable is not routed or pulled over pointed or sharp objects.
- Insert the mains adapter into a socket that has been installed in compliance with applicable regulations.
- Never open the housing.
- Keep the device away from pointed or sharp objects.
- If the device has been dropped or has suffered any other damage, it must no longer be used.
- The device must be switched off and disconnected from the mains every time after use and before cleaning.

Electric shock
As with every electrical device, use this device carefully and cautiously, in order to avoid hazards due to electric shock.
Therefore, observe the following instructions for use:
- Only with the mains adapter provided and only with the mains voltage specified on the mains part,
- Never use the device if it or its accessories show visible signs of damage,
- Do not use the device during pregnancy.
In the case of defects or operational faults, switch the device off immediately and disconnect the device from the mains socket. Do not pull on the mains cable or on the device to disconnect the mains part from the socket. Never hold or carry the device by the mains cable. Keep the cables away from hot surfaces.
Make sure that the plug and cable do not come into contact with water or other liquids.
Observe the following when using the device:
- Only use the charger in dry interior rooms.
- Only use the charger with dry hands.
- Never use the charger in the bath, shower or near a filled wash basin.
- Never use the charger in a swimming pool, jacuzzi or sauna.
- Never use the charger outdoors.
Never try to retrieve the device if it has fallen into water and is connected to the power supply.

Repairs
- Only specialist personnel may perform repairs on electrical devices. Improper repairs may subject users to considerable danger.
- In the event of a fault or damage, have the device repaired by a certified specialist workshop.

Risk of fire
There is a risk of fire if the device is used improperly or these instructions for use are ignored.
Therefore, observe the following instructions for use:
- Always supervise the device when it is in use, especially if there are children nearby.
- Never use the device underneath a cover, such as blanket, pillow, etc.
- Never use the device near petrol or other highly flammable substances.
Notes on handling rechargeable batteries
- If your skin or eyes come into contact with fluid from the battery cell, flush out the affected areas with water and seek medical assistance.
Choking hazard! Small children may swallow and choke on rechargeable batteries. Store rechargeable batteries out of the reach of small children. - Observe the plus (+) and minus (-) polarity signs.
- If a battery has leaked, put on protective gloves and clean the battery compartment with a dry cloth.
- Protect batteries from excessive heat.
Risk of explosion! Never throw batteries into a fire. - Do not disassemble, split or crush the rechargeable batteries.
- Only use chargers specified in the instructions for use.
- Batteries must be charged correctly prior to use. The instructions from the manufacturer and the specifications in these instructions for use regarding correct charging must be observed at all times.
- Fully charge the battery prior to initial use (see "Initial use" Chapter).
- In order to achieve as long a battery service life as possible, fully charge the battery at least twice per year.
