- Page 4 If you are connecting the DC outlet to a DIN-rail power supply, you will need a separate power cable, CBL-PJ21NOPEN-BK-30 w/Nut, to convert the terminal block output to the DC outlet on the NPort. If you are using a DIN-rail power supply or another vendor’s power adapter, ensure that the ground pin is properly connected.

- Page 6 When the device is ready, connect an Ethernet cable to the NPort 6100- G2/6200-G2 directly with computer’s Ethernet port or an Ethernet port of a switch. Serial Ports The NPort 6150 models come with 1 serial port while the NPort 6250 models have 2 serial ports.
- Page 7 Software Installation The default IP address of the NPort is 192.168.127.254. There is no default username or password. You will need to complete the following first-login process as part of the basic settings. 1. Set up the first administrator's account and password for your NPort.
