Removing / Refitting rear wheel

R E M O V A L
• Place the rotational shifter in
gear position „1".
• Loosen the knurled screw (1,
Fig. 1) and pull the clickbox off
the axle.
• Disengage the location sleeve
(3, Fig. 3) and pull it off.
• Remove shift rod/tube (1/2) out
of the axle bore.
R E F I T T I N G
• Fit non-turn washers (4, Fig. 2)
on both sides. The serrations
must bear against the dropout
and the lug must engage in the
dropout slot.
• No additional washers or any
accessories are permitted on
the sprocket side of the axle.
• Fit the guard (3, Fig. 1) on the
bracket side
• Tightening torque of the axle
nuts about 35 Nm. (310 in. lbs.)

• Insert shift rod (1, Fig. 3) in shift
tube (2) (oil parts lightly) and
then push into the axle bore as
far as the stop.
• Turn slot (6) in shift tube to a
position where it is easily visible.
• Push locating sleeve (3) with red
guiding rib (4) to the front onto the

axle – making sure that the internal
lug (5) is guided in the slot (6) of
the shift tube until it can be
felt – and heard – to engage.
• Turn the locating sleeve on the
axle until the guiding rib is
facing roughly upwards.
• Check: be sure that the shifter
is placed in gear position „1".
• Push on Clickbox (4, Fig. 1) to the
stop on the axle. The guiding rib of

the locating sleeve thereby engages
in the slot (2) on the housing.
• Tighten knurled bolt (1, Fig. 1) by
hand.
