If the packaging is damaged, the lifting platform must be examined carefully for damages. If the lifting platform is damaged, it must not be used until quali- fied service technicians or the Guldmann Service Team have approved it. Preparation The lifting platform must be charged. See chapter 2.12 concerning charging.

2 .06 Safety list Description of the safety list Between the platform and base structure there is a safety list which prevents crushing of limbs. Check that there are no obstacles under the platform. If the safety list is activated during descent, the platform will automatically stop the descent.

2 .07 Wheels The Lifting platform is delivered with 4 wheels. Two wheels are castor wheels with brake function. When the brake is de-activated, these two castor wheels have swivel function. The two other wheels do not have swivel or brake funktion, which gives the best possible way of moving the lifting platform.

2 .08 Lower Ramp and lock handle The lower ramp can be locked or un-locked by means of the lock handle. Only un-lock the lower ramp when the lifting platform is in down position. The different positions are shown in the pictures below. The strap can be used to ease getting the ramp closed.

2 .10 Operation Prior to use 1. Use the supplied key to unlock the brake pedal and the lid on the battery box. 2. Connect the cable to establish connection to the battery. 3. Make sure the emergency stop button is released.

4. Close the Lower ramp and lock it. Use the help strap, if needed. 5. Push and hold the Up button on the operation panel to raise the platform. Note: The lifting platform movement is based on the “hold to run” principle. 6.

2 .12 Modes of charging 1 . Connecting the charger on site The lifting platform is charged using the socket on the battery box. Connect the charger to the mains. Put the charger’s other plug in the battery box’s socket. The charger must only be used in dry conditions.

2 .14 Emergency lowering Description of emergency lowering It is possible to operate the lifting platform if the operations panel fails. The controller box contains the emergency lowering device as well as extra up/down buttons. To operate the emergency lowering device the button must be activated.

3 .00 Transport The lifting platform is equipped with wheels and can be pushed. The brake pedal must be de-activated – see Section 2.04. The lifting platform must be in its lowest position before it is moved. The battery box can be removed and transported separately. E.g. for charging or cleaning purposes.
