Function
Indicates the temperature of the coolant in the engine, see p. 40
(MULTIFUNCTION COMPUTER).
Do not leave the ignition switch in position "
CAUTION
since the cooling fans would stop independently
of the coolant temperature; in this case there would be a further
temperature increase.
If a temperature of 115 – 120 °C (239 – 248 °F) is displayed, stop the engine,
turn the ignition key to position "
cooling fans.

At this point turn the ignition key to position "
see p. 63 (COOLANT).

If the writing " " is displayed, stop the vehicle and let the engine run at 3000
rpm for approximately two minutes, thus allowing the coolant to circulate
regularly in the system; then press the engine stop switch to position "
and check the coolant level, see p. 63 (COOLANT). If the writing "
displayed after the coolant level has been checked, contact an
Official Dealer.
If the maximum allowed temperature (120°C -
CAUTION
2 4 8 ° F ) i s e x c e e d e d , t h e e n g i n e m a y b e
seriously damaged.
