Chapter 2 Introducing the Web Configurator
As illustrated above, the web configurator screen is divided into these parts:
• A - title bar
• B - navigation panel
• C - main window
• D - status bar

2.3.1 Title Bar

The title bar provides some icons in the upper right corner. The icons provide the following
functions.

2.3.2 Main Window

The main window shows the screen you select in the navigation panel. It is discussed in more
detail in the rest of this document.
Right after you log in, the HOME screen displays. The screen varies according to the device
mode you select in the MAINTENANCE > Device Mode screen.

2.3.3 Navigation Panel

After you enter the password, use the sub-menus on the navigation panel to configure
ZyWALL features.
The following table lists the features available for each device mode.
