Preparation Actuator Mounting Locations When installing the complete power bimini system onto the boat's railing, make sure: • The actuators are mounted square, level and plumb to one another (Fig. 1). • No actuator is mounted more than 1/4" ahead of the other (Fig. 1). •...

After properly positioning each strut/actuator assembly, use a pencil to mark the center locations of each actuator's mounting studs (Fig. 2A). Make sure the center marking for each mounting stud is centered across the width of the frame/railing and measures 16"...

Washer Nose Mount Caps The Lippert Quick Connect (QC) Touch Controller is pre-wired to the system frame harnesses. The Nose Mount Caps are part of the complete system frame, but require attachment to the boat's railings. With two Nose Mount Caps installed, the RH actuator power wires MUST be connected to a helm-mounted switch.

Carefully tuck the RH (starboard side) actuator wires into the open end of the Nose Mount Cap. Install the Nose Mount Cap into the end of the actuator while aligning the cap's base with the top of the boat railing (Fig.

Mast and Courtesy Light The mast navigation light (all-around light) (Fig. 6A) and courtesy light (Fig. 6B) are pre-installed and pre-wired through the middle bow. The two light fixtures share one ground connection, but each light has its own power wire for connection to a control switch. See Wiring Diagram, Mast and Courtesy Light. Fig.

Operation If necessary, remove the boot from the bimini top. Turn on electrical power to the boat. Use the helm-mounted switch to partially raise and lower the bimini top to ensure proper installation. Only open the bimini top indoors when testing for proper installation. Opening the bimini top outdoors subjects the system to possible strong winds that could result in severe product damage.
