PicoQuant GmbH FluoTime 250 Maintenance Manual 3.2. Changing an LDH or PLS Head In order to facilitate light source swapping, the LDH or PLS head is attached to the Laser Coupling Port ( Fig. 3). The head is secured to the port with a single screw (highlighted in red Fig. 9).

5. Detach the laser head from the laser coupling port of the FluoTime 250. Start by releasing the holding screw and then slide the laser head out. 6. Slide the desired laser head into the laser coupling port of the FluoTime 250 and secure it with the holding screw.

Changing the Detector Unit Your FluoTime 250 was either shipped with a detector unit from PicoQuant’s PMA Series, PMA Hybrid Series or a NIR-PMT from Hamamatsu (H10330-25 or H10330-45). Only detectors of the PMA and PMA Hybrid Series can be changed by the end-user.
