Incorrect mounting of equipment and operational errors can lead to expensive repair work and operational losses.   • Page 6 Attach the Minimum Disturbance Subsoiler (MIN-DIS) to the tractor using the tractors rear 3-point linkage. It is important to the function of the MIN-DIS to ensure that the machine is running level (parallel to the ground) to allow optimum level of soil disturbance and to prolong the lifespan of the wearing parts.
  • Page 7 SHEAR BOLT SOCKET & Replacing Shear Bolts SAFETY FIRST! Ensure the tractor is stationary and on as level and firm ground as possible with the tractor engine turned off to ensure safety. After breakback, remove the broken shear bolt (1) using 2 x M20 Spanners.
  • Page 8 Replacing Snap Bars SAFETY FIRST: When replacing the Snap Bar after break back, raise the legs out of work sufficiently so that the leg falls back into position to allow the Snap Bar to be replaced. SAFETY! The tractor should be stationary and on stable, level ground with the engine turned off to ensure the operator is safe to perform the adjustments required.

  • Page 12 The wearing parts used on the implement can vary according to the required use although as standard the Min-Dis is fitted with a low disturbance one-piece GLS/GLX style point. Parts can be obtained through Agriweld Ltd directly or through your local dealer.
  • Page 13 • Unbolt each worn point in turn to free it from the leg by removing the M10 nylock nut and the M10 x 50mm long bolt. The point will be free to remove. A new point can then be replaced into the same position using the same M10 nylock nut and M10 x 50mm long bolt.

  • Page 15 HYDRAULIC FOLDING DIAGRAM Unfold Fold 4 way diverter 50/50 flow divider Feed Feed AUTO RESET PRESSURE AMENDMENTS (Applicable to auto-reset models only) The auto reset pressure is pre-set at around 45-50 bar for dispatch. You will need to adjust this setting to your own conditions on first use.
  • Page 16 Changing Auto reset pressure – connection to tractor & procedure • To increase or decrease auto reset pressure, begin by making sure the 2 hydraulic pipes for the auto-reset system are connected to the tractor hydraulics at the rear. It is not imperative which way round they are attached.

  • Page 19 When the weight is removed from the lower pin/s remove the lower pin/s and insert them into a lower pin hole. Raise the Min-Dis so the packer then rests on the lower pins again and replace the upper pins in the relevant hole immediately above the packer depth control arm. All pins must be placed in the corresponding setting to enable the packer to run level.

The following safety advice is to be observed before starting any maintenance, cleaning or repair work. *Trained personnel may only execute maintenance activities. Inform operating personnel before beginning special operations and maintenance work! Delegate a supervisor! If necessary, ensure that the maintenance area is adequately secured.

Under special circumstances, agricultural machines wider than 2.55m are permitted to use public roads. The Road Vehicles Order 2003 permits the road use of agricultural vehicles that are up to 4.3m in width, subject to terms and conditions.
