- Use long matches or stick lighters for lighting. Hand-held lighters are not suitable.
- Do not carry the burners with an open flame, even if they are placed in the bottom plate. There is a fire hazard
from stumbling, dropping the appliance, an air blow or carelessness.
- Never leave the burners unattended during operation and use them for their intended purpose only.
- The burners may be used only if placed at a safe distance from flammable substances. Keep a minimum
distance of 1 m to any adjoining surfaces (e.g. walls, ceilings, etc.).
- Do not place the burners down on hot or warm surfaces. Use a heat-resistant base to protect sensitive surfaces.
- Assure after each use and before filling in new fuel paste that the burners have completely extinguished and
cooled down.
- Use the corresponding lid only to extinguish the burners. There is a fire hazard if other objects are used. If a
burner is very hot and does not extinguish right away after the lid was put on, remove the lid again and allow
the burner to burn a few minutes longer at the lowest adjustment setting. This will reduce the heat and allow
you to use the lid to easily extinguish the burner afterwards.
- Make sure to let the burners cool down after use.
- Also, follow the warnings printed on the refill containers.
- The burners are delivered unfilled.
Before the first use
- Read the instructions and safety instructions carefully before using the product.
- Remove all packing material first. Make sure that all parts are present and in proper condition.
- Clean the warmer, the heat distribution plate, the pans and the burners using warm water and a mild detergent.
Do not use any aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents. Dry the parts off completely.
- Wipe all wooden parts with a soft cloth, slightly moistened if necessary. Dry these parts off completely.
- To prepare the burners remove the upper parts, place an aluminium cup with fuel paste into the lower sections
and tear open the covers. Alternatively, refill an existing aluminium cup with fuel paste. Make sure that the
burners are sealed properly before they are placed in the recess of the bottom plate.
- Your Cheese Raclette is now ready for use.
