Step 1:
Remove the product from the packaging and place it on a clean, flat surface facing up. Peel off the
protective film and carefully inspect the product to make sure there is no visible damage and that all
hardware and accessories are present. It is recommended to plug in the product and test all functions
prior to installing.

  • Page 2 Step 2: Remove the baffle filters. Step 3: Reach into the cavity of the hood and carefully disconnect the three wire harnesses. (one for each light and one for the push button controls) Step 4: Locate the four screws which are securing the face to the body. Turn the screws counter-clockwise to loosen and remove.
  • Page 3 Step 5: Lift straight up to remove the face and set aside. Step 6: Flip the product upside down to install the Gravity Damper using the six screws provided. Make sure the gasket is positioned in between the damper and the hood. Step 7: Insert the hood into the cabinet opening and secure with the four screws provided.
  • Page 4 Step 8: Reinstall the face and secure using the four screws that were removed in Step 4. Step 9: Reconnect the three wire harnesses that were disconnected in Step 3. Step 10: Connect and secure duct using HVAC rated aluminum tape. When connecting the duct to the gravity damper, DO NOT use screws and make sure the duct does not impede with the movement of the damper flaps.
