BEFORE USE

This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the device out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place. This will help you prevent product damage when transporting it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If any of them are missing or not in good condition, please contact Cecotec's official Technical Support Service immediately.

Note
A slight odour and smoke might appear when heating the device for the first time. This is completely normal, and it will stop after using the device.

OPERATION

1. Wash and condition your hair.
2. Dry it with a towel and comb it.
3. Make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage stated on the rating label of the appliance and that the wall outlet is grounded. Plug the device to a power supply.
4. Install the accessory to be used with the slots aligned pressing the release buttons, press the attachment against the hot air brush's body. You will hear a click when it is correctly into place. Select level 1 with the power selector to fix your hair with a strong and warm air flow. Select level 2 for a fast drying and combing, or the cold drying for a soft drying to fix your hair style, preventing your hair from overheating.
5. To remove the accessory, press the release button and pull it out gently.
6. The device includes a rotation function.
7. Hold the rotating button for the accessory to rotate to the right o rleft.
8. Unplug the device from the socket when not in use.

Shaping the hair

1. Comb your hair and form locks.
2. Take a lock of hair and place it in the brush. Once this is done, turn the tip inwards or outwards. Do not roll the hair in the brush, it could get tangled. Instead, slide the brush along the length of the hair lock as you rotate.
3. Keep this position from 7 to 10 seconds and remove it. In case you have chosen the round brush head with retractable bristles, turn the tip of the brush head to hide the bristles and remove the hair.
4. Repeat this step with the rest of your hair.
5. When finished, shape it using your fingers.

After use

1. Turn the device off and unplug it.
2. Place it on a heat-resistant surface until it cools down.
3. Remove the hair and dust from the device and accessories.
4. Clean the device with a soft cloth and store it in a dry place.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Disconnect the appliance from the power supply and allow it to cool down before cleaning.
• Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the device's surface. Use a soft brush or a cotton swab to clean the air inlet.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquid.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads to clean the product.
• Do not twist, bend, pull, or damage the power cord.
• Clean the dirt and hairs that may be clogging the device.

• This appliance is designed for domestic use only and is not intended for bars, restaurants, farmhouses, hotels, motels, and offices.
• If the device is to be used in a bathroom, it must be unplugged from the wall socket after use, as the proximity to water could be a risk even with the device switched off.
• As additional protection, it is recommended that a circuit breaker (RCD) having a rated operating fault current not exceeding 30 mA be installed in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. We recommend you ask a qualified installer for advice.
• This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be carried out by unsupervised children.

• Ensure that the air inlets and outlets are not blocked.
• Turn off and unplug the device from the power supply immediately after use.
• Unplug the device immediately in the following cases:
  • Abnormal operation.
  • Needs to be cleaned.
  • After using it.
• Do not introduce metallic objects through the air inlets to avoid electric shocks.
• Do not wind the cord around the device.
• Do not allow the appliance to come into contact with your face, neck, or scalp.
• Do not leave the appliance on any surface while in operation.
• Do not use the appliance to comb wigs, natural hair extensions, fake hair, or animal hair.
• This icon means that the device must not be used in a bathtub, shower, or any other water-filled tank.
