Proper use

The site radio is used to play audio material which can be played via Bluetooth or AUX. In addition, radio stations can be played.
The specified reception frequency range represents the technical possibilities of the device. Information received outside this range may not be used or further distributed. The respective national laws must be observed.
Please note that we shall not be liable in cases of improper use.
Any other use is considered improper and can cause personal injury or property damage.

Getting started

Prepare and set up the device as described in the detailed user manual and put it into operation for the first time.

Connecting the mains cable

  • Plug the mains adapter into an easily accessible 100-240V ~ 50-60 Hz mains socket.

Switching the device on/off

  • Briefly press and hold the button to switch on the radio.
  • Briefly press and hold the button to switch off the radio.

Setting the volume

  • When the device is in use, turn the VOL. controller towards - to decrease the volume.
  • When the device is in use, turn the VOL controller towards + to increase the volume.

The volume set is briefly shown on the display.
Press the controller to mute the device.

Radio mode

The detailed user manual contains in-depth information on how to use the device.

This device can receive both DAB and FM radio stations. Select the required radio mode:

  • Fold up the antenna and align it for optimum reception.
  • Switch the device on.
  • Press the MODE button on the device repeatedly until you have reached radio mode. Dab or FM appears at the top of the display.

Setting the station manually (FM operating mode only)
Manually set the required frequency band here.

  • Use the + TUNE - controller to select the required FM frequency.

The set frequency is now played.

Connecting devices via Bluetooth

  • Switch on the device and select Bluetooth mode
  • Press the MODE button several times until Bluetooth is shown on the display.

The device name of the radio MD 43320 is displayed as soon as the signal is found.

The pairing of the two devices is complete when an acoustic signal is emitted and lights up continuously on the display.

Connecting an external playback device

You can use the AUX IN jack to connect an external playback device (for example a smartphone or MP3 player).

  • Switch the site radio to standby mode.
  • Switch off your external device.
  • Open the protection against water spray for external devices.
  • Plug the end of a 3.5 mm jack cable into the AUX IN socket on the side of the radio.
  • Connect the other end of the cable to your external device.
  • Switch on the site radio.
  • If necessary, press the MODE button several times until Auxiliary Input is shown on the display.
  • Switch on your external device.
  • Start audio playback on your external device.

The audio signal from your external device will now be played back and controlled entirely via the external audio device.

The following operating options remain the same in the various settings menus:

  • Press the MENU button to open the settings menu.
  • Use the + TUNE - controller to select the System menu and press the OK controller to open the menu.
  • Use the + TUNE - controller to select the setting you want to change.
  • Press the OK controller to open the desired menu item.
  • Use the controller to make the desired settings.
  • Press the controller to confirm the setting.
  • Press the MENU button to go back one menu item.
