This document describes the Windows setup instructions and the configuration for the IMP002.
Please read this manual before using the printer.

Windows System
Installation
- Get the Windows driver from the link:http://u.pc.cd/ODz
- Only supports USB connection.
- If your system is updated, please uninstall the driver before installing it. Please refer to following section for detailed driver uninstallation.
Install Printer via USB
- Use the USB cable to connect the printer and computer and turn on the printer and computer.
- Run the "Simple80DriveSetup.exe" installer.

Uninstallation
Delete Print Pool Job
- Enter [Settings] → [Devices] → [Printers & scanners] interface, click [XP-58] and choose [Open queue].

Delete Printer
- Click [XP-58] and choose [Remove device].

Paper Feed After
Create more blanks at the bottom of the receipt.

Logo ID
Set the logo, and the printer will automatically print the logo on the receipt.
- please refer to the steps in NV Logo Demo section to add the logo.
- Set logo ID.
- Doc-top logo ID: Set the number of logos at the top of the printed receipt.
- Doc-top logo Mode: Set the size of the logo printed at the top of the receipt.
- Doc-bottom logo ID: Set the number of logos at the bottom of the printed receipt.
- Doc-bottom logo Mode: Set the size of the logo printed at the bottom of the receipt.

Tool setting files only support Windows systems.
- Unzip the file and click <POS Printer Test.exe>.

Main Interface

Communication Port Selection
Select USB port.
Printer Type Selection
Printer type: default to POS-58.
Print
Print the information and data in the "content" edit box.
Print Self-Test Page
Click on this button, and the printer will print a self-test page.
Restore Factory
Click on this button, and the printer will restore factory settings.
Advanced
Click "advanced" button, and set up more features to have print test, below is the detailed introduction.
English
It's for switching software interfaces between English and Chinese.
Advanced Function
Click the "advanced" button on the main interface, the following interface will pop up:

NV Logo Demo
Click the "NV download" button, the menu below will pop-up:

- Size requirement and function selection of paper cutting of NV LOGO printing.
- Open LOGO:
Click and select BMP format picture or the LOGO file that you want to print. - Download NV LOGO:
Click the download button after opening the BMP format file and the file will be downloaded to the printer. Print the file content by clicking "print LOGO" button. - Print LOGO:
Click this button to complete the LOGO image printing. - Clear LOGO:
Remove the downloaded NV LOGO. - Mult NV LOGO down.
- Show current NV LOGO.
Bluetooth Setting
This function is no suitable for this machine.

- Set up the Port name of the Bluetooth Printer. (The Factory Default BT NAME is "Printer001")
- Set up the Password of the Bluetooth Printer. (The Factory Default BTPINKEY is "123456")
- After finishing the above settings, click "Setting", and then finished the settings of Bluetooth printer Parameters.
Language Setting
Function not developed.
Program upgrade
If there is a new firmware program available, you can upgrade it by pressing this button.
MacOS System
Installation and Uninstallation

Driver Installation
- Turn on the printer and computer.
- Double-click the "prt.pos.drv_3.13.8.pkg" installation package.

- Follow the instruction and click the [Continue] step by step.

Install Printer via USB Connection
- Plug in the printer, connect the printer to your computer via USB, place the thermal paper into the printer and then power on the printer.

Figure 3- 5 Connect USB - After the driver is installed, in the Mac menu bar, open the [System Preferences] and click the [Printers & Scanners] icon, the printer has been automatically generated in Printers & Scanners interface.
Note: If the printer is not generated automatically, please reset the USB cable on the computer.

Uninstalling Driver
- In the Mac menu bar, open the [System Preferences] and click the [Printers & Scanners].

Printer Features Settings
Print Density
You can set the print density to a level between 1 and 8.

Logo Control
Set the logo, and the printer will automatically print the logo on the receipt.
- Add the logo to printer, please refer to NV Logo Demo section.
- Set logo id.
- Doc-top logo ID: Set the number of logos at the top of the printed receipt.
- Doc-top logo Mode: Set the size of the logo printed at the top of the receipt.
- Doc-bottom logo ID: Set the number of logos at the bottom of the printed receipt.
- Doc-bottom logo Mode: Set the size of the logo printed at the bottom of the receipt.

Ubuntu System
Installation and Uninstallation

Only supports USB connection.
Driver Installation
- Open the folder where the driver is located, press the right mouse button, and select [Open in Terminal] to open the terminal.

Note: Use the "sudo" command to enable root account privileges.

Figure 4- 4 Installation - Enter [sudo dpkg -i file path] and click [Enter] Key on your keyboard. Enter your root password. The display content of the terminal is shown in the figure below, indicating that the driver installation is successful.
Note: If you do not have a root password, please open the terminal, and enter [sudo password root] to set the root password.

Install Printer via USB Connection
Before installation, you need to connect the printer to your PC, and then power on the printer.
- Open your favorite web browser and navigate to "http://localhost: 631/admin". Select [Administration], click the [Add Printer].

Uninstalling Driver
- Open your favorite web browser and navigate to [http://localhost: 631/printers]. Click the printer you want to delete, enter printer interface.

Print Density

ChromeOS System

Installation
- Search [POS Printer manager] on Google Store and click [Add to Chrome].

Uninstallation
- Open the extension page, click [Remove] below the plug-in, and click [Remove] again in the pop-up window at the top right of the page to delete the driver.

Connect Printer
- Click the extension icon in the upper right corner of the Chrome browser, select the installed printing plug-in, and jump to the [POS Printer manager] page.

Figure 5- 7 Click USB - Select the printer that needs to be matched, and then click [Connect] to connect. If the connection is successful, there will be the words "paired device" in the middle of the page.

Printer Parameter Configuration
Click [Setting] on the printer management page, click the [Command Type] drop-down box, and select [ESC/POS].
- Print density: Set the print density to a level between 1 and 8.
- Halftone: Disable、Error Diffusion
- Cut Paper: Different paper cutting methods can be set.
- Open Cash Drawer: Set the cash drawer opening method.
- Paper Saving: Set different paper saving methods.
- Custom Paper Size: The "CUSTOM" option in the paper size during printing refers to the dimensions set for a custom paper size.

Print Content
Click print on the page that needs to be printed to jump to the print preview page. You need to confirm the following three points before proceeding with the print job.
- Select the printer (select[POS Printer]).
- Select the paper size[CUSTOM] ([CUSTOM] is the [Custom Paper Size] set in the [Setting] page of the printer management page).
- Print density (select 203 dpi in the print density drop-down box).

Android System
How to Connect a Bluetooth Printer
- Put the thermal paper into the printer and press the printer power button to turn on the printer.
- Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone. Search Bluetooth device [P502A-1328] and connect it.

How to Connect Loyverse POS to Print Order Receipt
- Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone. Search Bluetooth device [P502A-1328] and connect it.
- Run [Loyverse POS] and set printer from [Setting] →[Printers].
