Holding the lever (T1) down, lift the chassis firmly until it opens completely.

ASSEMBLING/REMOVING THE REAR WHEELS

Insert the rear wheels (A) into the seats on the chassis and push them until they click into place.

make sure that the wheels are properly attached before use. Should it be necessary, the rear wheels can easily be removed.

To remove the rear wheel (A) act on the lever (A1) and at the same time extract it from its seat on the chassis.
REMOVING/ASSEMBLING THE FRONT WHEEL ASSEMBLY
Should it be necessary, both front wheel assemblies (B) can easily be removed.

Pushing the small button (B1), pull the wheel assembly out from its housing in the support.

To reinstall it, simply position it and push it until it clicks into place.

CLOSING THE CHASSIS

Using both adjustment buttons (T2), bend the handlebar to the lowest position.

Press the button (T3) and simultaneously rotate the rear handle (T4) until the chassis closes completely.
always check that the chassis is closed correctly.

To transport the closed chassis, use the rear handle (T4).
Never lift the chassis by the handlebar.
REAR WHEELS BRAKE

To operate the brake, press on the right lever (T5).

To release the brake, press on the left lever (T6). Always engage the brake during stops.

never lift the brake action and release levers, only press them.
BLOCKING/UNBLOCKING THE FRONT WHEELS
The chassis features swivel wheels.

To lock or unlock them make sure they are correctly aligned, then operate the lever (B2) located on both front wheel units.
ADJUSTING THE HANDLEBAR
The chassis is equipped with an adjustable handle.

Operate both buttons (T2) and simultaneously raise or lower the handlebar to the desired position.
STORAGE BASKET
The chassis is equipped with a large storage basket (H), which can be easily removed if necessary.

To remove the basket, undo the 4 snap fasteners (H1) that secure it to the side tubes and detach the Velcro flap (H2) from the spacer tube.

Remove the two rear hooks (H3) from their corresponding seats.

Release both front Velcro flaps (H4) and pull them off the chassis footboard, then remove the basket from the small front hooks (H5).
To reinstall the basket, carry out the above operations in reverse.
FEEDING BOTTLE HOLDER
The chassis is equipped with a standard feeding bottle holder (J).

To fasten the feeding bottle holder, place the upper guide in correspondence of the hook (J1) on the chassis and push it in its housing until it is fully attached.

The chassis can be used with the Electa carrycot, the Electa stroller seat and the Cab 0+ / Darwin Infant i-Size car seat, if present.
ATTACHING THE CARRYCOT TO THE CHASSIS

Take the carrycot from the handle and attach it to the chassis in correspondence of the housings on both sides of the structure and place it solely facing the parents.

Once the carrycot is installed, check that the indicators (C1) on both the attachment devices are Green. If they are Red, reposition the carrycot correctly until the indicators turn Green.

before use, make sure that the carrycot is properly attached on both sides by pulling it upwards.
DETACHING THE CARRYCOT FROM THE CHASSIS

Operate the lever (C2) located outside the carrycot and simultaneously lift it, gripping it by the handle.
FITTING THE HOOD LINING

Wrap the hood lining (C) around the handle, fixing it with the dedicated buttons (C3) and with the central Velcro fastening strap (C4).

Complete the fitting by attaching the side and rear Velcro fastenings (C5) to the carrycot.
HANDLE AND HOOD ADJUSTMENT

To adjust both the handle and the carrycot hood, press the two internal buttons simultaneously (C6).

Before carrying or lifting the carrycot, always check that the handle is in its vertical position and properly locked on both sides.
ATTACHING THE APRON

To fit the cover (D) hook the zip fastening to the carrycot and button the flap to the hood.

The front flap of the apron (D1) can be extended and fixed in a position that protects your child from the cold.

The double-slider zip on the cover allows easy access to the child.
BACKREST ADJUSTMENT

Operate the lever (C6) to adjust the backrest: once the desired position is reached, set the lever to the starting position.
CARRYCOT VENTILATION
The Electa carrycot features a coordinated ventilation system.

The ventilation of the base can be adjusted using the lever (C7) at the front.

If present: the mesh insert on the hood permits greater circulation of air inside the carrycot.
MATTRESS AND INTERNAL LINING MAINTENANCE
It is advisable to remove the mattress and internal lining periodically for correct maintenance.

To remove the internal lining simply release it from the edge of the carrycot.
CARRYCOT LINING MAINTENANCE

If it is necessary to remove the carrycot cover, simply pull it off by unfastening the perimeter straps from the seats on the structure.

When refitting it, ensure that the two elastic loops (C8) are fitted perfectly underneath the lower tabs (C9) on both attachment devices.
Incorrect positioning of the elastic loops could interfere with correct attachment of the carrycot to the chassis.

Attach the stroller seat (E) to the chassis, positioning it in the dedicated housings on both sides of the structure.

ADJUSTING THE FOOTREST

To lower the footrest, use both levers (E3) positioned on the lower part and simultaneously press them downwards.

To lift the footrest, simply pull it upwards and it shall automatically lock into position.
SAFETY BELTS

Ensure that the safety belts are inserted in the eyelets at the height of the shoulders or immediately above. If the position is not correct, remove the belts from the first pair of eyelets and reinsert them in the second one. Position both back straps always at the same height.

Connect the ends of the waist straps (E5) to the back harness (E4) and complete the attachment by inserting the end pieces into the central buckle (E6).

Always use the waist strap together with the back harness, adjusting both of them properly.
Failure to observe this precaution could cause your baby to fall or slip, risking injury.

ATTACHING THE HANDRAIL

To attach the bumper bar (F), fit it in the dedicated housings (F2) in the stroller seat until it clicks into place.

The handrail can be open on one side or fully removed; to open it, press the button (F1) and remove it from its housing; to remove it, repeat the procedure on the other side.
STROLLER HOOD

To adjust the hood (G), simply accompany it to the desired position.

The hood features an additional fabric insert and sun shade that extend the degree of cover, improving protection from the sun.
RELEASE OF THE HOOD FROM THE STROLLER

To remove the hood (G) from the stroller seat, remove all the buttons (G1) that secure it to the backrest.

Remove the two snap fasteners (G2) that secure the hood to the side joints (G3), then pull the internal strap (G4) from the joints, pulling it firmly from both sides.
HOOD LINING MAINTENANCE
The hood lining can be removed to allow for its correct maintenance.

Once the hood is released from the stroller, simply pull out the internal strap (G4).
CLOSING THE CHASSIS WITH THE STROLLER SEAT ATTACHED (STROLLER CONFIGURATION)
The chassis can be closed with the stroller seat attached, both facing the parent and facing the street.

Before closing the stroller, fold the handlebar to the lowest position.

Fold the hood, recline the backrest to its most horizontal position and lift the footrest completely.

STROLLER SEAT LINING MAINTENANCE
It is recommended to remove the lining periodically to provide for its correct maintenance. To facilitate coating removal, first remove the hood and handrail.

Remove the cover from the footrest.

First remove the two lower snaps fasteners (E7) that secure the cover to the seat, then the two fasteners (E8) that secure the side panels to the chassis.

Unfasten the two buttons (E9) on the backrest and release the cover from the handrail hooks.

Remove the crotch strap from its protective pad, releasing it from the locking elastic, then from the slot on the seat.

Pull the lower back straps out of the slot in the centre of the backrest.

Remove the lower back straps from both shoulder straps and release the cover from the side hood joints as well.

After removing the lower back straps from the slots on the cover, pull it out of the stroller chassis.
REMOVAL/INSTALLATION OF THE SAFETY HARNESS SYSTEM
The Electa stroller is equipped with a safety harness system that can be removed if necessary.

To remove the crotch strap, pull the lower ring (E10) out of the slot on the seat (E11). The lower back strap and the two back harnesses are attached to the backrest by means of safety rings, which are removed and installed in the same way.

To remove both lower back strap and back harness, push the belts through the slots on the backrest (E12) and pull firmly until the rings (E13) are released from their seats. Then remove the rings (E13) from the slots (E12) and pull the belts out completely.

To install the crotch strap, fit the lower ring (E10) only in the slot on the seat (E11). The lower ring (E14) must remain on the outside.

To reassemble both the lower back strap and the two back harnesses, after checking that the buckle ends are in the correct direction, insert the rings (E13) in the appropriate slots on the backrest and, once they are positioned under one of the hooking tabs (E15), push them firmly into place.
Position the back harnesses always at the same height.

Make sure that all the belts are correctly attached to the stroller seat by pulling them individually.
FOOTMUFF (IF AVAILABLE)

Position the footmuff (K), passing it under the bumper bar, and attach the press studs (K1).

The flap of the footmuff can be extended and attached in a position suitable for protecting the child from the cold, fastening it with the external side press studs to the corresponding elements (K2) on the canopy.

To fit the rain cover (L), position it on the hood and button both press studs (L1) on the sides of the stroller seat.
