Auto Focus: Center the object you
want the camcorder to focus on
inside the framed detection area.
l
Manual Focus Indicators ( .I I)
appear when manual focus is
selected. The CAMERA/PLAY
switch must be in the CAMERA
position.

Low-Contrast
Indicators
(- ?a:*{ -)
appear when there is not enough
light to record at the higher shutter
speed or when the auto-focus
feature cannot focus properly.

2 Shutter Speed Indicator
l
The shutter speed indicator appears
for the shutter speed selected with
the SHUTTER button. The
CAMERA/PLAY switch must be in
CAMERA.

Dew Warning Indicator
The dew indicator appears when
excessive moisture (condensation)
has entered the camcorder. The
camcorder will not operate when
this indicator appears. Place the
camcorder in a warm, dry area until
the dew indicator disappears.
When the dew indicator disappears
from the viewfinder, the camcorder
will operate.

4 Low Battery Indicator

This indicator appears when it is
time to recharge the battery.

This indicator appears when the
clock cell has not been installed or
it needs to be replaced.
