Taking Pictures with
Manual Focus
Use this function when you want to fix the
focus or when the distance between the
lens and the subject is determined and you
do not want to activate auto focus.
1 Switch the AF/MF button A to
[MF].
• The setting switches between AF and
MF each time the AF/MF button is
pressed.
2 Tilt the joystick towards 3/4 to
focus on the subject.
B: MF assistance
C: Focus range
• MF assistance disappears about
2 seconds after you stop operating the
joystick.
• Focus range disappears about
5 seconds after you stop operating the
joystick.
