Attaching the Lens Cap/Shoulder Strap ∫ Attaching the Lens Cap • When you turn the camera off or carry the camera, attach the lens cap to protect the surface of the lens. Pass the string through the hole on the camera.
Attaching the Lens Hood (DMC-FZ200) • Check that the camera is turned off. • Close the flash. Attach the lens hood into the lens with the short side aligned with the bottom of the main unit. • Do not hold the lens hood in a way that twists or bends it.

Sequence of operations Turn the camera on. • The clock is not set when the camera is shipped. Set the date and time before using the camera. Press the shutter button halfway to focus and then press it fully to take the picture.

Taking Pictures with different image effects (Creative Control Mode) This mode records with additional image effects.
