PROBLEM RESOLUTION
It's not on. Plug it into a grounded outlet.
There is no current. Check that the plug is not defective.
Fuse has blown/circuit breaker has tripped. Contact your service represent-
ative.
Make sure the voltage is correct for this appliance.
There is a lot of hot food recently added inside. Allow several hours for it to
return to normal temperature.
The controls are not set correctly for the surrounding conditions.
Check that the appliance is not exposed to direct sunlight or too close to a
heat source.
Check that the ambient temperature is within the operating limits of the
appliance.
The doors of the appliance are opened frequently. Once the door is opened,
moisture found in the room air enters the appliance, especially if the humidi-
ty levels in the room are very high.
The more the door is opened in wet conditions, the greater the chance of
moisture buildup.
The door is not closed.
The rubber gasket is not sealed properly.
The refrigerator does not have enough space to ventilate from the back and
sides.
Increase the temperature by adjusting the thermostat to a lower setting.
The highest power should only be used as a rapid cooling mode and should
only be set for two hours before a large amount of food is to be stored. If you
do not do this, the temperature could fall below 0ºC since the compressor
would be in continuous operation.
Hot and humid climates increase the formation of frost indoors. It is normal.
Check that the food and drinks you have in the refrigerator are not expired
and are properly packaged. If it is not, throw it away or container it well.
Make sure nothing has been spilled. Any spill that has been left unattended
and not cleaned up can cause unwanted odors.
Make sure there are no objects obstructing the door from closing.
Check that both shelves and compartments are securely in place.
Check that the door gasket is not deformed or torn.
Make sure the appliance is level.
If you have just opened the door, allow it a few minutes for the air pressure
to equalize before trying again.
