10. Connect discharge gooseneck to
discharge valve. Screw on hand tight.
Tighten connection by securing the
gooseneck with large pliers and tighten the
Rota-lock nut with the other channel lock
pliers.

Connect suction valve with gasket (Q)
between the valve and the valve
adapter. Using the existing Copeland
suction valve bolts, tighten evenly with a
¾" wrench. (See figure 8a & 8b)
9b. 4 Bolt IR4C to 4 Bolt Copeland
Place the larger round gasket (Y) in the
adapter hole. Insert the metal spacer.
Place the small round gasket (S)
between the spacer and the suction
valve. (See figure 8c.)
Using the original Copeland bolts and ¾"
wrench, tighten the suction valve evenly
to the suction adapter.
11. Connect oil line to oil float using hose
provided in kit.
12. Connect all remaining lines and controls
to the compressor.
