TS-2088XU User Guide 1. Preface About This Guide This guide provides information on the QNAP TS-2088XU NAS and step-by-step instructions on installing the hardware. It also provides instructions on basic operations and troubleshooting information. Audience This document is intended for storage administrators. This guide assumes that the user is knowledgeable and qualified to install, maintain, and troubleshoot issues involving servers, server components, and storage systems.
DDR4 ECC RDIMM memory that can be scaled up to 256 GB, the TS-2088XU can handle large volume computing tasks. Equipped with two PCIe Gen 3 x4 slots and four PCIe Gen 3 x8 slots, the NAS supports installation of GPU cards and accelerators for AI applications. The TS-2088XU supports up to 20 storage drives, and data integrity is guaranteed through the device's redundant power supply.

Attaching the Case Cover. Replacing Memory Modules The TS-2088XU has four memory slots. You can increase the memory capacity of the NAS by upgrading memory modules. For optimal quad-channel performance, replace memory modules in all four slots at the same time.
