7.1 Disposing of old appliance
Valuable raw materials can be reused by recycling.
▸ Dispose of the appliance in an environmentally friendly
manner. Information about current disposal methods are
available from your specialist dealer or local authority.
The guideline determines the framework for the return and
recycling of used appliances as applicable throughout the EU.
7.2 Disposing of batteries
Batteries should be recycled in an environmentally friendly
manner. Do not dispose of the batteries in the household rubbish.

▸ The charging station contains a rechargeable lithium ion
battery.
▸ Disposal must be carried out by our authorised customer
service or specialist retailers.
▸ Only trained professionals may remove the integrated
battery for disposal.
▸ Opening the appliance housing may destroy the
charging station.
▸ To avoid a short-circuit, disconnect each connection
at the battery separately and insulate the poles one after
the other.
▸ Even when fully discharged, the battery still contains
residual capacity that may be discharged in case of a
short-circuit.

Disposal
This appliance is labelled in accordance with
European Directive 2012/19/EU concerning used
electrical and electronic appliances (waste electrical
and electronic equipment - WEEE).
According to the European Guideline 2006/66/EC,
defective or used battery packs/batteries, must
be collected separately and disposed of in an
environmentally correct manner.
