Operational Safety The Duotour has an extensive number of safety features like: switches, safety buffers and active infrared sensors. These safety features are fixed at different places of the door to protect the users. If one of these safety features is activated the door will rotate slowly or stop immediately.
Operation restrictions for high wind loads All Duotour door types are safe to use up to at least a wind load of 11 Beaufort. It is advisable to take the door out of use when the given maximum wind load is exceeded, in order to avoid damage or dangerous situations.
It is not allowed to make changes or switch off any safety features without authorisation from Boon Edam. WARNING! All installation and maintenance work on the door must be carried out by Boon Edam personnel or by an approved agent. WARNING! The warranty of the product will end prematurely if the door is installed, maintained or modified by unapproved personnel.
It provides simple, bi-directional, straight-line access and has a high capacity throughput of people. The Duotour is available with sliding doors or collapsible doors. The sliding door version is available with or without showcases.
There are two different control panels for the two different types of the Duotours. In addition an electronic control panel is fitted to all Duotour types consisting of a touch screen control panel that also functions as a Service display.

Collapsible Door Mode: Collapsible doors open When the key switch is in the collapsible door position, the Duotour will stop according to the symbol and the collapsible lock will unlock. The DC-brakes will be activated after a short delay. The door wings can be collapsed by hand.
Touch screen control panel (Service display) In addition to changing the operation of the Duotour with the key switches, the Duotour has another possibility to customize the operation of the door by means of a touch screen control panel (Service display).

Service display. A delay (configurable) is then built in to avoid abuse of this function. In case the button is pressed and held for that delay, the Duotour will stop in the sliding door position and open the sliding doors.

TL360N * The Duotour is equipped with a secured night access function, the TL360N. This system provides a controlled access over card reader (or similar) and a free exit by means of push button.
