    installation compliance Before proceeding with installation ensure all operating and dimensional specifications are suitable for the intended installation. This product is a supplemental equipment to provide immediate flushing to support plumbed and self-contained emergency eyewash and shower equipment but does not replace them. Enware products are to be installed in accordance with the Plumbing Code of Australia (PCA), AS/ NZS3500 and instructions provided.

    installation 1. Connect male thread of Hose onto Trigger Gun. Use a thread sealant on the thread connection and tighten with a spanner. SEE IMAGE 01 WATER SUPPLY 2. Determine location of the drench hose on wall. 3. Install a water supply inlet point on wall, fit a 1/2” BSP elbow (not supplied) and position it so that the outlet of the elbow is facing down.

    service & maintenance The drench hose needs to be activated weekly for a period long enough to verify operation and ensure the flushing fluid is available (AS4775 & ANSI Z358.1). Note: the intent is to ensure that there is a flushing fluid supply at the head of the device, to clear the supply line of any sediment build up that could prevent fluid from being delivered to the head of the device, and to minimize microbial contamination due to sitting water.
