Upgrading to a 480 Watt Power Supply System This upgrade option will replace all electrical harnesses, fans, SATA cables, power supplies, PLRs, and modules. • For a rear access upgrade, the upgrade process is easiest if modules are replaced first. If modules can be replaced first, then remove the modules using a module removal tool (#TH-1062). - Page 9 7. Remove the PLRs by removing the mounting screws using a " socket and drill. If a new PLR is not going back in the same section (per the contract-specific Riser Drawing), then also remove the "PLR LOCATED BEHIND THIS DOOR" label from the cabinet.

It is best to terminate wires at this point, but this can be done later in the process. Neighboring power supplies may need to be removed temporarily in order to terminate wires if performed after new power supply installation.

Glossary Lanyard attachment ring: a ring found on the back of each module. The lanyard attaches to the ring to keep the module from falling to the ground. Program and a Repair & Return Program. Exchange Program Daktronics unique Exchange Program is a quick service for replacing key parts in need of repair. If a part requires repair or replacement, Daktronics sends the customer a replacement, and the customer sends the defective part to Daktronics. This decreases display downtime. -
Page 20: Repair & Return Program
Customer Service immediately. Daktronics expects immediate return of an exchange part if it does not solve the problem. Daktronics also reserves the right to refuse parts that have been damaged due to acts of nature or causes other than normal wear and tear. -

Daktronics warrants to the original end user (the “End User”, which may also be the Purchaser) that the Equipment will be free from Defects (as defined below) in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year (the “Warranty Period”). The Warranty Period shall commence on the earlier of: (i) four weeks from the date that the Equipment leaves Daktronics’...
- Page 52 In no event shall Daktronics be liable for loss, damage, or injury of any kind or nature arising out of or in connection with this Warranty in excess of the Purchase Price of the Equipment. The End User’s remedy in any dispute under this Warranty shall be ultimately limited to the Purchase Price of the Equipment to the extent the Purchase Price has been paid.
- Page 53 For End User’s protection, in addition to that afforded by the warranties set forth herein, End User may purchase extended warranty services to cover the Equipment. The Extended Service Agreement, available from Daktronics, provides for electronic parts repair and/or on-site labor for an extended period from the date of expiration of this warranty. Alternatively, an Extended Service Agreement may be purchased in conjunction with this Warranty for extended additional services.
