    PREPARING THE APPLIANCES – PART 2 ALIGNING FIREBOXES & PREPARING INTERNAL PARTS Spirit Level Bracket Crosshead screws Line the two appliances next to each other with the opened ended sides pushed up together. Using a spirit level ensure that both appliances are completely level. Once level, remove the top two screws from each appliance with a cross headed screw driver as shown.
