• Do not insert any object and/or finger into the openings of the heater.
• To extinguish burning appliances only use fire blankets.
• Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower
or a swimming pool (the appliance is not splash-proof).
• For indoor use only.
• Do not store the appliance outdoors.
• Store the appliance in a dry place inaccessible to children (pack the ap-
pliance).
• Prior to any maintenance, cleaning and after each use, switch off the ap-
pliance and unplug the mains cable from the socket.
• Repairs to electrical appliances must only be carried out by a qualified
electrical technician.
Setting up / operation
Note: Make sure that there is always sufficient space between the heat-
er and the wall or other large objects (> 50 cm). The air flow must not be
blocked by objects of any kind.
1. Having set up Alex in the desired position connect the cable (1) to the
household supply socket.
2. First, push the main switch for power supply (2) on the back of the ap-
pliance.
3. All functions of the appliance can be controlled using the remote control
(3) or via a smartphone app (see point 12 of "Setting up / operation").
The remote control is magnetically attached to the top of the device (3).
The remote control can be charged by using the USB-C cable supplied
to attach it to the charging connection (4). Use at least a 5 V/2 A adapter
and a suitable socket outlet for this. Fully charge the remote control
before putting the device into operation. The battery charge status is
indicated on the top on the LCD display (5).
4. Switch on the appliance by pressing the On/Off button (6). The current
temperature will appear on the display (7).
5. Press the button (8) above the On/Off button to switch between the
heater function ("HEAT" will appear on the display and the LED status
light (9) on the front of the device will turn red) and the fan function
("FAN" will appear on the display and the LED display (9) on the front of
the device will turn blue).
6. If the heater function is selected, the digital thermostat is activated.
You can program the desired target temperature within a range from
5 °C to 34 °C by pressing the temperature selector buttons (10) or set
it to the maximum indicated by "Hi". The number will flash in Setting
mode. Press "+" to increase the desired temperature or "-" to reduce it.
After a few seconds without any input, the current room temperature
will appear on the display.
Info: The appliance switches off the heating element when the target
temperature is reached and the temperature indicator flashes on the
display. The fan will switch on approximately every 15 minutes on the
lowest setting in order to monitor the room temperature. The appliance
switches on again if the room temperature recorded drops below the set
target temperature.
7. Fan function: To use the device as a fan, press the selector button (8)
until "FAN" appears on the display and the LED status light (9) on the
