Ensuring Security by the WEP (Encryption) Function

Follow the steps below to encrypt wireless packets so that they cannot be intercepted by a third party.
If the WEP function is set, communication between a Macintosh computer is not available.
Setting procedure

Refer to " Installing FreePort Station Manager" to install the FreePort Station Manager.

When the message "Setting Complete" appears, close the browser.
Click Custom Setting.
Enter a 5-digit encryption key in the "WEP (encryption
code)" box. Enter the same encryption key again in the
"Confirm Encryption Code" box for confirmation and click
Settings.
The five characters can include alphanumeric
characters and an under bar "_" .
