    S OU ND BA R P L AC E M E NT RECOMMENDATIONS • Place the soundbar below and in front of the TV (preferred) or above your TV with the front of the soundbar facing into the room. • For best sound quality, make sure the up-firing speakers on the top of the soundbar and the side-firing speakers on the side of the soundbar aren’t blocked.

    S OU ND BA R P L AC E M E NT WALL MOUNT THE SOUNDBAR You can mount the soundbar on a wall. To purchase the Bose Soundbar Wall Bracket, contact your authorized Bose dealer.     B OS E A P P S ET U P The Bose app lets you set up and control the soundbar from any mobile device, such as a smartphone or tablet. Using the app, you can stream music, add music services, explore internet radio stations, manage soundbar settings, define presets, and get new features.

CONNECT TO A DIFFERENT WI-FI NETWORK Connect to a different network if your network name or password has changed, or if you want to change or add another network.

    ADA PT IQ AU D IO CA L I B RATIO N After you set up the soundbar using the Bose app, the app prompts you to run ADAPTiQ audio calibration for best sound quality. ADAPTiQ audio calibration customizes the sound of the system to the acoustics of your listening area by taking audio measurements at multiple locations in the room.

    Adjust Personal Surround audio settings To adjust the earbud volume, center channel level, or height and surround channel level relative to the soundbar, use the Bose app. To access these options, on the main screen, tap on the volume slider for the group.

    CA RE AND M A I NTE N A NC E UPDATE THE SOUNDBAR After you complete the setup process in the Bose app and connect the soundbar to your Wi-Fi network, the soundbar updates automatically. REPLACE THE REMOTE BATTERY Do not ingest battery, chemical burn hazard.

    • Secure all cables. • Check the state of the soundbar (see page 26). • Download the Bose app, complete the setup process, and wait for any available software updates to download to the soundbar. • Place the soundbar according to the placement guidelines (see page 11).
