    A number of symptoms and possible causes of engine malfunctions are described in the table below. Always contact your Volvo Penta dealer if problems occur which you can not solve by yourself.     Lift the boat ashore. Check the oil level in the drive. If the oil is gray-colored, water has entered and the drive must be inspected by an authorized Volvo Penta workshop. The same applies if there is damage to the drive.
