Discard or
store the
removed BJ
cartridge
immediately.

Insert the
new BJ
cartridge.
o If you are discarding a used BJ cartridge, do so immediately.
o Handle the used BJ cartridge with care to avoid spilling ink on
your hands or clothing.
o If you are switching the color cartridges, store the cartridge you
removed in the SB-60 Ink Cartridge Storage Box. (The storage
box is for the BC-61 or BC-62 only. The BC-60 stays in the
printer at all times.)
o If necessary, open a new BJ cartridge box. Then remove the cap
and tape.
o If you are inserting a BC-60 Black BJ Cartridge, insert it into the
left side of the cartridge holder.
